"Ingham Chicken" is a personal project created in 2023, exploring my hometown, Ingham, in Far North Queensland. This is a love letter to the place I once called home.
I am interested in investigating the ideas of nostalgia, the reliability of memory, girlhood and The Australian Dream, through photographing a place that was once my home, and the people within it. By shedding light on the beauty of a small town, I hope to create a sense of connection and appreciation for the stories it holds.
"Ingham Chicken" culminated as a zine + a week long exhibition at Downstairs by A-N Studio in Fitzroy, Melbourbe, in November of 2023.
