Australian based photographer.
Amelia Dowd was born and raised in Far North Queensland. She doesn't remember a time where she didn't have a camera. After pursuing a career in the performing arts, she began to consider photography as a career path which led to her move to Sydney in 2014. In just a few years she has shot for major commercial clients and magazines in Australia, including Mecca, David Jones, Myer, McDonalds, Clarins, Frank Body and most recently Dior for Russh Magazine. She is most drawn to creating photographs with a sense of authenticity and simplicity.
